Dr. Gray first starting performing this scarless procedure in 1996.  He recently performed his 1000^th case and stated,  “The popularity of this method continues to expand and we continue to see patients from all over the country where it is not offered.”

With the observation that liposuction is simpler and safer than surgical excision (cutting out tissue) and knowing that patients want shorter recovery and less risk, Dr. Gray realized that liposuction would be effective on the breast. The majority of breast is fat, which can easily be removed with liposuction. 

Because Dr. Gray is the originator and has the greatest amount of experience, he has been asked and presentations on his procedure to numerous meetings at the both the American society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. 

“With fewer insurances companies covering breast reductions this is a much more affordable way to have to alleviate the painful symptoms of oversized breasts”, said Dr. Gray. “Due to the brief procedure, costs of the operating groom and anesthesia are greatly reduced.”
